Client Brief

To design and produce the two annual awards nights with an emphasis on innovation and entertainment.

The Show

Continuing an evolution of change for the 18th annual awards dinners, 2011 saw the events moved to the Palladium Ballroom at Crown. With a new venue and the potential to significantly increase guest numbers, DG was challenged to again lift the prestige and entertainment value of these highly valued annual awards presentations.

With the introduction of stunning stage sets and dramatic theatrical lighting, the stage was set for an inspiring awards presentation. Once again bothevenings commenced with a stunning opening video produced by DG global, before MC Andrew Daddo took to the stage and raised the bar as a simply brilliant Master of Ceremonies.

Following the main awards presentation in the rear section of the Palladium, guest moved into Palladium A-B for dinner, feature awards and entertainment. Following the conclusion of the Master Builder of the Year award presentation, headliner Daryl Braithwaite and Band captured the audience and filled the dancefloor. The evening then moved up a notch as sensational 80’s tribute band Stand & Deliver carried a packed dancefloor through to the end of the night.
