Client Brief

To conceive and produce a gala dinner to relaunch the refurbished Grand Ballroom.

The Show

Dg global conceived and produced an extravagant client event that unfolded through three completely transformed event spaces within the ballroom.

The main ballroom was lavishly transformed with full room draping, a combination of long and round banquet tables, stage set, and animated screen and lighting effects.

The show kicked off with an opening time-lapse video of the event set-up immediately followed by an intimate performance of ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ by Michael Cristiano and Lisa Edwards on a central stage. Formalities included a live cross to the kitchen to meet the venue’s new Executive Chef before a surprise headline performance from Wilbur Wilde, Lisa Edwards, Joe Camileri and an all star band.

Following dessert service an entire wall of drapes dropped to the floor to reveal a flaming cocktail bar and lounge where Twisted Liquid literally set the night on fire before 80’s glam rockers, Stand and Deliver, got the guests up dancing for the rest of the night.
